While studying painting and drawing at the Academy of Arts in Tirana, he discovered the art forms fashioned at that time: impressionism, cubism, expressionism and surrealism all of which are evident in his work. Greg EdmonsonSolo ExhibitionGreg Edmonson studied at the University of Calgary. He received his MFA in painting from the University of Alberta, Edmonton in 1985. He has exhibited widely in public and private galleries in Canada, the United States and Europe for the past twenty years. His work is in many public collections including the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Edmonton Art Gallery, Glenbow Museum and the Canada Council ArtBank, and also in corporate collections such as Microsoft Corporation, Seattle and Toronto Dominion Bank, Toronto. |
